I have owned for 17 years. It originally came from WY. It is completely restored. It has lived a very easy life in my garage. There is virtually nothing I have not put a lot of time and money into. Every bit of the restoration was done working closely with Rovers North in VT and Ike Goss at Pangolin in OR. I am so proud of this Rover, but it is time for me to find it a home. My young family takes too much of my time for this vehicle not to be appreciated and driven everyday if buyer desires. The motor is completely rebuilt and restored. It was 100% done correctly. Completed last May. The motor has around 200 miles since the overhaul rebuild. The motor is the best part of it. You won't find one that runs as smoothly, nice and dependable. The transmission, clutch, fuel lines, fuel tank, and hoses have all been replaced or rebuilt. All the interior is replaced and restored. The exhaust is new, sounds great. The seats are the premium vinyl offering from Rovers North. The back bench seats are excellent. You can use them in the safari seating configuration or remove them. The window and window components, like the slides are all new and perfect. Most Rovers have nasty and rotted glass components so I had it all replaced. Even the cigarette lighter is new, works perfect, great source of auxillary power. The dash is new old stock, original that was found in South Africa. It pulls the interior together very nicely. The seat belts are brand new and safe. The wipers and wiper motors were recently replaced. Rear view mirrors are new Land Rover factory parts. It includes new floor mats, see picture. The interior floor was lightly sprayed with a liner giving it a durability. The headliner is new old stock factory original. Steering wheel was just professionally restored too. It is perfect and was just put in professionally about two months ago. All the wiring was redone, it's clean with proper harness, and looks awesome. The gauges all work. I replaced the speedometer with a new old stock after completing the motor rebuild. I still have the original speedometer that goes with it. The tires are new, aggressive for any off roading, which I never did, but look great with the new paint. There is no air conditioner or radio. Never came with one. Entire paint job was completed by a professional for very high quality original Alpine Blue color and cream. It includes the rare sun shade on the hard top. The hard top is removable, but is heavy. I did it once, but left it on since completing the resto. I had the front grill redone by a hot rod restoration guy with pulls the exterior together very well. I have the spare tire in it, but of course it can be mounted on the back door. I will pull all the shop records together for winner. I have kept every bit of it.
I am not interested in offers or trades. I have too much money and time invested in it. Winner will get for a fraction of the money I have invested in it.
I live in Rogers, Arkansas. That's about 1.5 hrs from Tulsa, 3.5 hrs from Kansas City, 5 hrs from Dallas. Winning bidder will need to pick up within two weeks. I will be happy to make arrangements if necessary. I am not comfortable selling it sight unseen; would like winner to see it in person. Payment through certified bank check or cash in person. I have the title in hand. Feel free to call me: 479-366-8222
Here's a video I posted on youtube of the motor running so you can hear it.
